“Don’t Stop!” Came About Because I Spent £500 Fixing A Drum Machine That Left Me Broke.” says Xan Blacq.

“I was expecting it to cost about 150 quid and when the technician took my payment and gave me the drum machine he said with a cheeky smile, “Good Luck! I hope you write a hit with it.”

Xan took up the technician’s challenge and fused Pop, Funk and Soul into a single song, “Don’t Stop!”.
For many years Amy Winehouse, Jessie J, Nigel Kennedy and Candi Staton to name a few, have relied on Xan’s musical talents so it’s no surprise that his music is of a super high level.

“Don’t Stop!” is a snappy, energetic and shimmering tune with a killer bass line and vocal hooks that stay in your head like a pleasure-soaked migraine. Adding to the drama are MOBO Award winning rapper, Funky DL and Nigerian mistress of rhymes, Lyric L laying down Raps with enough Funk to wake the dead.
